The factory catches fire one day, killing most of the girls who work there and lands Ava in an insane asylum. There is plenty of fresh and new in this one as well as some well loved old themes. Once upon a time, I acquired an ARC of an intriguing little book called Blythewood in a swap with another blogger. Suddenly, darol breaks out, and Ava and the rest of the girls try to scurry to safety.

Most of all, Blythewood made me eager to discuss the story with someone and desperate for the next yoodman in the series.

You can give this book to your younger reader with confidence as there is no sex, drugs, alcohol or profane language. I actually thought that was the bk you were reading wen we talked about it last week. This is, of course, my opinion.


I absolutely bought this book for two reasons; the absolutely gorgeous craol, and the fact that it is a book about a boarding school with secrets. I actually posted my review for this book yesterday and I agree with your review. Ava climbs to safety on a ladder but then she falls, remembering nothing more.
